At Cmok Pusa Book we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data when you use our website and order through our shop.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Process and fulfil orders
• Make personalised products
• Provide customer support
• Send order confirmations and updates

• Prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions
• Meet legal obligations

We only collect the data that is necessary for running the business and fulfilling your order.

3. Data for personalised products

Data provided for personalisation is used solely to make your custom product.

Customers are responsible for checking all personalisation details before ordering. We are not responsible for errors entered by the customer, including spelling mistakes, wrong dates or inaccurate custom details.

Photo books: the photos you upload to the editor, the page layouts, texts and cover choice are stored on our own server in Germany (Hetzner, EU). We use the photos only to make your book; we do not publish them or use them for anything else. A book can only be opened from your browser (the cpb-album-token cookie); our staff see the photos only to make the book, and our printing partner receives the print file.

How long we keep the photos:

• A book started without photos is deleted after 48 hours.
• A book with photos that is not ordered is deleted 30 days after its last change.
• An ordered book is kept until 4 months after delivery or refund (for a reprint or a complaint), then its photos are deleted.
• If an order is cancelled, the book becomes unordered again and is deleted 30 days after its last change.

If you would like your photos deleted sooner, write to info@cmokpusabook.com, with the order number if you ordered the book. We delete them within 30 days of your request, unless the book is already being made.

4. Payment data

Payments are processed securely through external payment service providers such as:

• Stripe
• Revolut Pay

We do not store, and have no direct access to, your full payment card details.

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Improve the functionality of the website
• Remember cart and ordering information
• Analyse traffic on the website
• Improve the user experience

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the website may then not work properly.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data with trusted third parties only when this is necessary to:

• Process payments
• Deliver orders
• Keep the website working
• Meet legal obligations

They are:

• Stripe - payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay
• BoxNow and GLS - delivery (name, address or locker, phone, email)
• Hetzner Online (Germany) - the server the shop, its database and the photos run on
• IONOS - sending order emails
• Cloudflare - website protection and speed (traffic passes through their network)
• Sentry - reports of technical errors, without customer data
• Our printing partner - the photo book print file

We count visits with our own tool (Umami) on our own server, without cookies and without passing data to anyone else.

7. Data retention

We keep order and customer data only for as long as is necessary for:

• Fulfilling the order
• Customer support
• Legal, tax and accounting obligations

Order data and invoices are kept for as long as Croatian tax and accounting law requires. Photo book photos are kept only briefly, as described in section 3.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location and the applicable laws, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Request the deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent, where applicable
• Request a copy of the data stored

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure.

However, no transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Third-party services

Our website may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those external websites or service providers.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website and products are not intended for children below the age set by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
